Saint Luke's Health System metro hospital locations will be supported by a virtual team of Medical Surgical Nurses to help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience.
Our patients now have an extra team member watching over them via this virtual team.
This is an advanced way Saint Luke's is using telehealth to improve patient care and patient outcomes.
The Virtual Nurse Program is a collaborative team model that will allow experienced Med/Surg Nurses to work virtually with a care team at the bedside.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to:
Have electronic oversight of the patients on the unit Assist the primary nurse in chart review, patient education, and coordination of care Help with many delegated communications with care team and families Work 1 bedside shift every 2 weeks As a member of this collaborative care team you will be responsible for patient advocacy, prevention, telecommunication, proactive continuous monitoring, evidenced-based care, clinical decision support and humane compassionate and ethical care.
