Maintenance Technician for Night Shift, St. Joseph, Missouri

If you have prior experience in industrial maintenance, or electrical experience, we want to talk to you TODAY! If you have interest and/or training with tools and mechanical work, and are willing to learn, we can help you become proficient as a Maintenance Technician for night shift.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - full shift; Thursday - half shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday - full shift; Thursday - half shiftNight Shift Maintenance Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machinesRebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/partsPerforming preventative maintenanceInstalling equipment/machinery/partsInspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systemsCreating daily activity reportsCollaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facilityOther duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position.
This is not a remote position.
The ideal candidate for the Night Shift Maintenance Position will possess the following:
Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functionsAbility to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenchesBasic computer skillsWillingness to work and be on time when scheduledAbility to read, write and speak EnglishStrong work ethic and eye for detailExemplary safety record (with previous employer)Strong communication skills, both written and verbal The following experience is preferred but not required:
ElectricalIndustrial Maintenance ExperienceGeneral knowledge of tannery layout Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.
