Full-Time, Nights7p-7aJOB SUMMARY - RNThe Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services in accordance with physicians' orders or plan of care.
The registered nurse is responsible for determining the nursing problems for an assigned group of patients/residents, making plans to solve them, initiating the plan or assigning others to implement it, and evaluating the extent to which the plan was effective in resolving the problems identified.

JOB SUMMARY - LPNThe LPN performs direct resident/patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
The incumbent performs nursing assessments, follows the plan of care in accordance with physician's plan of treatment; provides nursing services in accordance with current nursing practice; and evaluates resident's/patient's response to treatment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - RNo Effectively and timely provides for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing conditions, processing physicians' orders, providing treatments and administering prescribed drugs.
o Timely and effectively coordinates nursing care for patients and educates the patients/residents and family about the care.
o Timely delegates appropriate aspects of nursing care to staff which includes evaluating, monitoring and assuring delivery of care.
o Accurately and timely documents patients/residents progress toward goals and other observations.
o Reports patients/residents changes, needs and/or requirements to the appropriate staff.
o The responsibilities described above represent the primary responsibilities of the job.
Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as warranted by business needs.
The incumbent is expected to perform all assigned responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - LPNo Provides direct resident/patient care based on a specific plan and departmental services.
This may include dispensing medication, checking vitals, changing wounds, personal care, etc.
o Timely and accurately reports resident/patient changes, needs and/or requirements to the Registered Nurse and/or other managing staff.
o Accurately and timely completes required documentation of nursing care to meet all state and Village requirements.
o May delegate appropriate tasks to care givers and follows up on assignments.
o May perform homemaking and other environmental services when necessary for services provided through the department.
o The responsibilities described above represent the primary responsibilities of the job.
Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as warranted by business needs.
The incumbent is expected to perform all assigned responsibilities.
WORKING ENVIRONMENTo The associate is subject to inside environmental conditions which provides protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
o The associate is exposed to infectious diseases.
o The associate is required to function around individuals with challenged mental capacities.
o Required to drive from one location to another if necessary for services provided through the department.
o Depending on services offered in the department, this position may have on-call responsibilities.
RequirementsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - rnEducation:
This job requires an associate's degree professional nursing (ADN)Licenses/Certifications:
oMust be a Registered Nurse by the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing.
oCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact oValid driver's licenseKnowledge and Skills (required unless otherwise noted):
oMinimum of 12 training and in-service hours annually.
(Non-Exempt) oBasic level knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
oAbility to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time.
oIf working in Home Health and Village House, must be able to work autonomously.
oAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
oAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
oAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public oAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
oAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - LPNEducation:
This job requires a combination of education, training and experience that is acquired through the completion of an accredited School of Nursing.
Licenses/Certifications:
oMust be a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
oCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact oValid driver's licenseKnowledge and Skills (required unless otherwise noted):

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
