The following are the duties of this position at the GS-07. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Develop and implement new systems or administrative processes to ensure effective, timely accomplishment of duties throughout the organization. Determine effectiveness of administrative processes and use considerable judgment in correcting inefficiencies. Prepare charts, graphs, or narrative summaries for management or program analysis reports from material provided by higher level employees. Use various software packages, with special emphasis on Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) to create, update, edit and revise a wide range of documents, presentations, automated records, databases, etc. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-07, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience performing in an administrative support role and contributing research or data for organization projects. Examples of such experience could include:
- Receiving visitors, and answering telephone calls; OR - Arranging travel accommodations which includes preparing associated documentation, scheduling appointments and commitments; OR - Establishing and maintaining automated and manual files, compiling a variety of routine, recurring, and/or special reports or documents requested by management, requests for information with due dates and ensuring timely responses; OR - Researching and analyzing data to gather information to prepare reports. For the GS-06, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience performing in an administrative support role improving administrative processes. Examples of such experience could include:
- Establishing and maintaining office files; OR - Relaying Help Desk assistance and administrative problems; OR - Using automated systems to make travel arrangements; OR - Using office computer program, such as Excel, Word or Powerpoint; Google OR - Clerical experience handling various types of documents and databases in order to meet deadlines. For the GS-05, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience performing in an administrative support role using a personal computer to administer office functions. Examples of such experience could include:
- Establishing and maintaining office files; OR - Using office computer program, such as Excel, Word or Powerpoint; Google; OR - Clerical experience handling various types of documents and databases in order to meet deadlines. OR - You may substitute education for experience as follows:
4 years of study above high school from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, or university; OR - You may qualify with a combination of specialized experience and related education. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-07, you must have been at the GS-06 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-06, you must have been at the GS-05 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-05, you must have been at the GS-04 level for 52 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
